Weekly Blog Summary: 05/01 Summary: I learned that Solar power first started in 1876. I also learned that scientist Richard D ay discovered that when the chemical element selenium came in contact with light, it produced electricity. A reason solar power is important is because we use it to turn power from the sun into electricity, which is better for the environment. I find solar power very interesting and useful.
