WAC - Should China Build More Hydroelectric Dams?

I believe that China should not build any more hydroelectric dams, because (1), It's bad for the environment, (2), Many people are relocated from their significant home town,&(3), Farmers rely on the natural flooding of the rivers!

Nature has reasons for flooding. It also has reasons why we even exist. We shouldn't be messing around with the flooding; it could be extremely important to the animals who live there! What about the fish, who rely on the water to survive? What about the animals who rely on the fish, who rely on the water? Fish are not the only animals that need water. Other animals do too.

Many people are relocated from their homes, just for these dams! It isn't fair to them, because they don't even get enough money to move! Not only that, but they have been working there for most of their life. If someone wanted to build a dam, didn't even give me enough money to move, then I would see why building a dam is so horrible (which it is!).

Like I said before, nature has it's reasons. Think of it this way: You are nature. You want to naturally form this beautiful waterfall, or spring. All of a sudden, all these horrible people come and start building all their garbage over your hard work. They dump their filthy trash, and kill all of your wildlife! If you were a real person, you would be very, very upset, and extremely mad.

What about beavers? What about ducks? Tadpoles? All of these animals need the river, but they won't survive if we keep building these dams! Beavers build dams for obvious reasons. They build their HOME in the river! It's where they live, perhaps where they hibernate for the winter! Ducks, eat the fish who live in the water. Now imagine a small little duck, trying to survive with no fish, not anything, because of these dams. Now, imagine yourself, coming up to that duck. How do you think it would feel?

Tadpoles. Sweet, cute little tadpoles. And frog eggs! Has it ever occurred to you, that the gross-tasting jelly coating around the egg CANNOT PROTECT IT FROM DIRTY WATER? It lets in fresh water so it can fertilize the little tadpole. But it can also let in polluted water, which will let the tadpole form with deformities. (Three legs, five eyes, etc.)

This is why I believe that China should not, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, build more hydroelectric dams! IT IS NOT FAIR TO THE PEOPLE AND ANIMALS WHO ALREADY LIVE THERE.
